The Dad Letters was started back in 2012 as a way for Ralph Amsden to help navigate Life, Love, and the Absurd through the format of letters to his children. Over the years, there have been many contributors, such as Christian Lindvall, Ryan Eland, Daniel Zehring and Steve Valdez. The blog is infrequently by various fathers when they need an outlet to express themselves. The blog, Southwest of Omelas, contains Ralph Amsden’s more personal writings, in which his children aren’t necessarily the eventual intended audience.
